Role Overview
Amazon Freight is looking for a Billing & Payments Analyst in India to help grow a new business line that is still in its early expansion phase. The role supports Amazon Freight’s external shipping service and contributes to delivering a strong shipper experience across the EU and UK markets.
What You Will Do
- Put new and existing standard operating procedures into practice and ensure they are followed.
- Spot process bottlenecks, investigate root causes, and suggest practical improvements that raise efficiency and output.
- Assist shippers with invoice dispute investigations and work toward resolutions within the agreed service timelines.
- Handle enterprise shipper queries through support tickets and escalation channels.
- Match invoices, process credit notes, and support accurate cash flow and transaction tracking.
- Reconcile customer payments and ensure each payment is linked to the correct invoice.
About the Team
The team supports Amazon’s middle-mile logistics technology platform for road freight shipments in the UK and Europe. The service enables customers to move palletized cargo through less-than-truckload and full-truckload options directly to Amazon fulfilment centres in the UK and EU, as well as to non-Amazon facilities, at competitive pricing.
Required Background
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or commerce (B.Com).
- Strong working knowledge of Excel at an advanced level.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office tools and applications.
Preferred Experience
- Three or more years of experience in finance operations, shared services, accounts payable, accounts receivable/collections, or general ledger work.
