You will guide the full lifecycle of PATT implementations, from discovery and requirement analysis through configuration, testing, and production launch. Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the complete functional solution for PATT engagements, covering discovery, requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and go-live support.
  • Run client workshops and solution design discussions, advising on payroll setup, absence structures, time tracking rules, and how these areas connect within Workday.
  • Interpret complex and sometimes unclear client needs into practical, scalable Workday designs while explaining decisions, compromises, and risk areas to HR and Finance stakeholders.
  • Serve as the main escalation contact for functional issues on PATT projects and coordinate across client, technical, and delivery teams to reach resolution.
  • Develop trusted relationships with client HR, Payroll, and Finance teams and strengthen Agilysis’ position as a long-term advisor.
  • Establish the overall architecture for Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking, with attention to scalability, consistency, and adherence to Workday best practices.
  • Design and control Business Process Frameworks across PATT modules, including routing, approvals, and security rules.
  • Manage integration points between PATT and related areas such as HCM, Benefits, and Compensation, and provide guidance on third-party payroll and time system integrations.
  • Define reporting and analytics needs for PATT, including custom reports and calculated fields that support payroll reconciliation, absence monitoring, and time compliance.
  • Provide senior leadership across end-to-end PATT implementations and ensure deliverables meet scope, timeline, and client expectations.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of Workday functional experience, including a minimum of 4 years of hands-on work in Workday Payroll, Absence, or Time Tracking.
  • Strong knowledge of at least one additional PATT module, either Absence Management or Time Tracking, with the ability to independently lead configuration.
  • Ability to own solution design and functional decisions without daily senior supervision.
  • Strong understanding of Workday HCM architecture, business process design, and security frameworks as they relate to PATT.
  • Proven track record of leading client workshops, design reviews, and stakeholder discussions at both operational and leadership levels.
  • Experience mentoring junior consultants on configuration standards, testing methods, and delivery documentation.
  • Advanced capability in EIB-based data loading, custom reporting, and calculated fields within the PATT space.
  • Awareness of third-party payroll integrations and outbound payroll file design is an added advantage.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to create clear configuration documents, release notes, and design deliverables.
  • Workday Payroll certification is mandatory; Absence or Time Tracking certification is preferred.
