Role overview
Chanelle Pharma is seeking a Warehouse Operator to join a fast-paced warehouse team in County Galway. The position supports the company’s goal of being a trusted supplier of high-quality, cost-effective pharmaceutical and veterinary products, while delivering dependable service to both internal colleagues and external customers. The role reports to the Warehouse Manager and involves carrying out tasks in line with documented SOPs and work instructions to meet regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Pick and pack products and customer orders with a strong focus on batch and picking accuracy.
- Carry out cycle counts when required and help investigate any stock count differences.
- Support other warehouse areas as needed, including controlled vault/RC, goods in and returns.
- Work closely with other internal teams to keep operations running smoothly.
- Monitor and record temperature-related anomalies.
- Maintain a tidy, safe workspace by following a clean-as-you-go approach.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times and use the required PPE.
- Handle other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Pack goods carefully to reduce the risk of damage during transit to customers.
- Remain flexible to work additional hours when necessary to help maximize the number of orders dispatched.
Experience and technical knowledge
Prior experience in a GMP-regulated warehouse is preferred. Familiarity with EU GMP and US FDA requirements is beneficial. Comfortable use of computers, including Word and Excel, is an advantage. Forklift and turret truck licences are useful but not mandatory. Experience with warehouse management systems, or general computer literacy, is desirable.
