Role overview

Rotana Hotels is seeking energetic, self-driven food and beverage professionals to join its team in Abu Dhabi. The role is located at Park Rotana and Park Arjaan Abu Dhabi and focuses on delivering attentive, polished service that turns each restaurant visit into a memorable experience.

Key duties

• Carry out all required food and beverage service tasks in line with the hotel’s service standards.
• Welcome guests, guide them to their tables, and serve them in a courteous, discreet, and personalized manner.
• Build strong knowledge of the outlet’s menu so you can answer questions and suggest suitable items to guests.
• Keep a close watch on the quality of food and beverages served to customers.
• Handle guest feedback, questions, and complaints professionally and to a satisfactory resolution.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the outlet and ensure service tools and equipment remain in proper condition.
• Complete all preparation work before service, stay organized during service, and finish post-service setup and cleanup, including mise-en-place and mise-en-scène.
• Reduce waste, breakage, and spoilage wherever possible.
• Use suggestive selling techniques to improve guest satisfaction and help generate additional revenue.

Qualifications and experience

Applicants should ideally hold a diploma or degree in hospitality, or have vocational training in food and beverage. Prior experience working as a waiter or waitress in a high-volume restaurant is preferred. Strong English communication skills are needed, along with solid guest-service and interpersonal abilities.
