About the Company
Stakeholders VR is on a mission to become the leading vacation rental business globally. The company began operations on May 1, 2026 after acquiring 18 property management brands across five regions, bringing its portfolio to about 4,700 homes under management and close to one million guest stays each year.
The organization supports entrepreneurial operators and the communities responsible for managing highly valuable assets. Its operating model blends local market knowledge with the efficiency and scale of a national platform. Local brands retain their identity, founders continue as equity partners, and the central Mission Control team develops the technology, tools, and shared infrastructure that independent operators typically cannot create on their own.
The company is also building a shared AI service layer designed to strengthen revenue, marketing, finance, and operations across the portfolio, all in support of excellent hospitality for guests. Its leadership team includes experienced operators and investors from ResortQuest, Compass, Bridgewater, Overmoon, Wheelhouse, Inhabitat, Grand Welcome, and Lerer Hippeau. The business is backed by TZP Group, a private equity investor focused on consumer, technology, and travel.
If you are motivated by building a major brand in travel and hospitality, supporting the entrepreneurs who run it, and using AI to improve performance across the business, this role offers that opportunity.
Role Summary
The VP, Business Operations & Strategy will lead the company’s most complex integration and transformation efforts across markets, brands, and functional teams. This senior role sits within the Business Operations organization and is accountable for turning enterprise priorities into structured programs that deliver measurable outcomes.
The position will oversee major workstreams in M&A integration, operating model design, revenue and cost optimization, value creation, and cross-functional transformation. It is a hands-on leadership role that demands structured problem solving, strong executive communication, and disciplined execution in a fast-growing, acquisition-led environment.
The role partners closely with the SVP, Business Operations & Strategy, the COO, the CFO, Market General Managers, and other leaders to ensure strategic initiatives are clearly defined, sequenced well, and executed with real impact.
What You Will Do
- Work with the SVP and COO to define enterprise transformation efforts, establish goals, and shape the overall approach from problem framing through implementation.
- Own high-priority integration and transformation programs from initial diagnosis through execution and handoff to operational teams.
- Translate ambiguous, multi-factor problems into clear hypotheses, decision logic, and execution plans.
- Align initiative design with enterprise value creation goals such as revenue growth, cost efficiency, and operating model improvement.
- Drive the full lifecycle of transformation work, including opportunity identification, strategy development, program mobilization, execution, delivery, and transition to “run” ownership.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to support strategic decisions.
- Create financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases tied to EBITDA impact.
- Assess performance patterns across markets, brands, and functions.
- Turn complex analysis into concise, executive-ready recommendations.
- Design, test, and implement new solutions and operating models.
- Collaborate with Market GMs, Directors of Operations, Brand GMs, Revenue leaders, Technology, and Finance.
- Facilitate interviews, working sessions, and structured problem-solving discussions.
- Build trust quickly with acquired property management company leaders and functional stakeholders.
- Align groups with competing priorities and move them toward shared decisions.
- Help build and refine integration playbooks and transformation frameworks.
- Create repeatable standards for initiative design, tracking, and governance.
- Strengthen the consistency and predictability of portfolio-wide delivery.
- Contribute to the company’s broader execution rhythm and operating cadence.
Role Expectations
- This is not a conventional project management role.
- This is not a functional operating role focused on day-to-day KPI management.
- This is not a support role that simply provides extra bandwidth.
- This is not a strategy-only role that stops at advice and does not own results.
- The role is accountable for outcomes through disciplined execution and influence across stakeholders.
Candidate Profile
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- An MBA or another advanced degree is preferred, though equivalent professional experience may also qualify.
- 5–8+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy and transformation, business operations, or similarly demanding environments.
- Strong track record of structuring complex problems and driving work from end to end.
- Experience working with senior leaders and operators is strongly preferred.
- Background in M&A integration, multi-unit operations, or platform businesses is a plus.
- Excellent analytical ability and structured thinking.
- Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong executive-level communication and storytelling skills.
- Ability to combine strategic thinking with practical execution.
- Comfort working independently in uncertain, fast-moving settings.
- High sense of ownership and strong bias toward action.
- Ability to use AI tools to improve the quality, speed, and throughput of strategic work, along with curiosity about how the technology is evolving.
What the Company Offers

- Competitive base pay plus a performance-based bonus.
- A comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with employer match.
