Role overview
Tonic3 is hiring a Designer, Print & Digital to join its in-house agency team. This role is ideal for a creative professional who enjoys turning ideas into polished visual work that performs well across both print and digital touchpoints. You will help produce assets that support brand storytelling and audience engagement across a range of marketing channels.
What you will create
The position focuses on developing visually compelling design assets that translate concepts into finished pieces aligned with messaging and brand direction. Work will span direct mail, marketing collateral, email creative, product materials, and other digital and print deliverables.
Key responsibilities
- Create high-quality print and digital design assets such as direct mail pieces, marketing materials, email campaigns, and product collateral.
- Partner with copywriters, creative leaders, and cross-functional teammates to shape unified creative solutions.
- Make sure all design work follows brand guidelines, accessibility expectations, and campaign goals.
- Rework and adapt creative for different channels, audience groups, and layout requirements.
- Manage several assignments at once in a fast-moving environment while consistently meeting deadlines.
- Keep up with evolving design trends, tools, and production methods to ensure the work stays fresh and effective.
Required background
- At least 5 years of professional experience in both print and digital design.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a closely related discipline.
- Advanced working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
- Strong Figma skills, including the use of components, auto layout, libraries, and collaborative design practices.
- Excellent eye for detail, with strong layout, typography, and production abilities.
- Strong organizational habits, self-direction, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools, workflows, and creative approaches.
- Prior agency experience is required.
- An online portfolio or portfolio website featuring print and digital marketing work is required.
Work location
This is a hybrid role based in Schaumburg, Illinois, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely each week.
Compensation
The salary for this position is $85,000 to $95,000 per year.
