Role overview
The Unit Clerk position at Secord Trails Community in Ingersoll, Ontario is a permanent full-time daytime role within a non-union setting. Key duties
- Serve as the first point of contact for residents and visitors, handling questions in a respectful and diplomatic way.
- Pass resident concerns and complaints to the Manager in written form.
- Welcome building visitors and make sure their needs are handled promptly and pleasantly.
- Lead short tours in line with established policies and procedures.
- Deliver clerical and computer-based assistance to managers when requested.
- Maintain the necessary records for cash transactions linked to guest and team member meal vouchers or tickets.
- Take on additional tasks as assigned.
Required qualifications
Applicants should have completed Grade 12 and be comfortable using MS Office applications, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a professional customer-service mindset developed through related experience. The role also calls for solid organization, the ability to manage several tasks at once, and capability in problem solving and complaint handling. All candidates must successfully clear the required Vulnerable Sector Check.
Preferred experience
Experience in the healthcare sector is considered an advantage, and post-secondary or applied training in office administration is preferred.
