UK Audit Manager

Role Overview

The dot HQ is hiring a UK Audit Manager to lead and manage external audit work for clients, with a strong focus on UK audit engagements. This role is based onsite and requires close coordination with client teams as well as internal stakeholders.

Education Qualification

• A Chartered Accountant (CA) or ACCA qualification is required.

Professional Experience

• You should bring 2 to 5 years of experience after articleship in external audit.
• Hands-on exposure to UK audit assignments is mandatory.
• Experience serving UK-based clients will be considered an added advantage.

Technical and Operational Competencies

• Prior work on audits of Limited and Public Limited Companies is expected.
• You should be familiar with UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience handling group audits and consolidated financial statements is required.
• The role calls for the ability to independently plan, carry out, and close audit engagements.
• You must be comfortable with audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting in collaboration with clients and internal teams.
• Strong working knowledge of audit documentation practices and audit software is needed.
• You should understand financial statement preparation and finalization.
• The position requires the ability to review financial information, spot risks, and interpret trends.
• Experience in evaluating internal controls and compliance processes is essential.
• Practical use of audit and accounting software tools is expected.
