Role overview
The ROW IB team is looking for a driven transportation representative to coordinate daily operational work across INFCs. The role supports Amazon’s objective of giving sellers the earliest possible appointments and handling vendor and seller appointment-related requests efficiently. It involves operational excellence, system support, process improvement, and design work in a customer-focused environment dedicated to improving the seller and vendor experience.
What you will do
In this role, you will act as a key link between different stakeholders, making sure information moves smoothly and issues raised by sellers and vendors are resolved correctly and on time. You will support sellers, associates, and management while helping the team meet both individual and group performance standards.
- Handle seller and vendor requests through email, calls, and ticketing systems within expected timelines.
- Use internal tools to investigate issues, interpret data, and make quick decisions based on the situation.
- Track progress, identify blockers, and coordinate resolutions in an environment where priorities may change.
- Check earliest appointment availability and suggest suitable alternate options when needed.
- Support inbound-related work by understanding basic inbounding concepts and operational requirements.
- Communicate clearly with internal teams and external stakeholders in written and spoken English.
Team context
Rest of World Inbound (ROW IB) is part of ROW APEX, India Operations. The team focuses on providing a smooth and hassle-free inbounding experience for sellers and vendors across Amazon fulfillment centers. Its responsibilities include freight planning across fulfillment centers, rescue activities, contingency handling, and appointment-related support for vendors and sellers.
Requirements
- A graduate degree from a recognized university.
- Strong analytical thinking, sharp attention to detail, and solid communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage time well, meet personal goals, and work effectively with internal teams, partners, and customers.
- Comfort using computers and MS Office tools such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work confidently with internet-based tools and navigate websites efficiently.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication.
- Skill in understanding issues accurately and communicating them clearly.
- Ability to stay focused on problems until they are resolved.
- Strong deep-diving and investigation ability.
Preferred profile
- Exposure to process improvement through automation and analysis, or advanced SQL use for data mining and business intelligence, will be an advantage.
