Technician

Opportunity

This role is focused on supporting safe, high-quality work in the Operating Theatre (OT). The technician will help maintain a clean, well-prepared, and compliant environment for peri-operative care and procedures.

Key Duties

• Perform routine housekeeping tasks in line with infection prevention and control requirements.
• Check medical instruments, devices, and related accessories to confirm they are in proper working condition.
• Keep the operating room environment and equipment clean, orderly, and safe for use.
• Support surgeons by helping to move and position patients before procedures.
• Assist in delivering safe care to peri-operative patients while working under the guidance of trained nurses.
• Maintain inventory records accurately and keep stock updates current.

Job Requirements

• At least a GCE N Level or O Level qualification, or an equivalent credential.
• Prior relevant experience is advantageous, and candidates with a WSQ Higher Certificate in Healthcare Support (Operating Theatre) will be preferred.
• Must be at ease with direct patient interaction.
• Must be willing to work rotating 3-shift schedules and weekends.
• Compensation and role level will depend on the candidate’s prior relevant experience.

Work Environment

This is an on-site position based in Singapore, supporting operating theatre operations within a healthcare setting.
