Supply Chain Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for a careful, data-driven Supply Chain Analyst to help manage the full flow of supply chain activities. This role supports purchasing, transportation, inventory control, and demand forecasting. The position focuses on studying supply chain information, spotting inefficiencies, and turning analysis into practical recommendations that improve service levels, lower costs, and make day-to-day operations more efficient.

Key Responsibilities

• Study supply chain information to uncover patterns, potential risks, and areas where performance can be improved.
• Keep track of stock levels, forecasted demand, and supply planning work.
• Assist with purchasing, logistics, and distribution activities.
• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking tools.
• Work with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to keep operations running smoothly.
• Spot delays and weak points in the supply chain and suggest process improvements.
• Support demand planning and forecasting efforts.
• Review supplier performance and assist with vendor management tasks.
• Maintain accurate data across supply chain platforms and reporting systems.
• Contribute to cost-saving and operational efficiency initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or a similar discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, procurement, operations, or another analytical role.
• Strong ability to analyze information and solve problems.
• Advanced Excel skills, including PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis.
• Hands-on experience with reporting or data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
• Good understanding of supply chain processes and operational workflows.
• Strong written and verbal communication, along with solid organizational skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or comparable systems.
• Exposure to demand planning, forecasting, and inventory control tools.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or other data query methods.
• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement approaches.
• Experience in manufacturing, retail, or e-commerce supply chains is an advantage.
