About the Role
This position is for a Loss Prevention & Security supervisor at Delta Hotels and Resorts in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role is scheduled as full-time and is an on-site position. It is a non-management job focused on safeguarding guests, employees, and hotel property while supporting daily security operations.
What You’ll Do
- Patrol the property, secure guest rooms, and help guests with room access when needed.
- Carry out emergency response drills, daily safety and hazard checks, investigations, interviews, and key control audits.
- Track closed-circuit television and alarm systems, and authorize, observe, and record access to restricted areas.
- Support guests and employees during emergencies, including contacting EMS or providing first aid/CPR when required.
- Collect details, complete incident reports, and maintain confidentiality of reports and documents.
- Share information only with authorized individuals and handle disturbances in line with company procedures.
- Address safety hazards, interruptions, complaints, and remove unwelcome persons from the property when necessary.
- Support compliance with alcoholic beverage control regulations and call for assistance using the proper code responses.
- Prepare and provide appropriate paperwork to employees.
- Assist management in training, coaching, and motivating employees, while serving as a role model and a first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
- Follow all company policies, report accidents or unsafe conditions, complete required safety training and certifications, and protect company assets.
- Welcome guests professionally, respond to service needs, communicate clearly, prepare accurate documents, and maintain positive working relationships with the team.
- Ensure quality standards are met and take on other reasonable duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- No license or certification is required for this role.
- Some states may require additional licensing or registration to be considered for the position.
- Ability to read and verify information in different formats, including small print.
- Capability to inspect tools, equipment, or machines for defects.
- Comfort using computers and/or point-of-sale systems to enter and locate work-related information.
- Ability to move quickly in response to work situations, including running, walking, or jogging.
- Ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods or an entire shift.
- Physical capacity to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds without help and more than 75 pounds with assistance.
- Manual dexterity to grasp, turn, and handle objects of different sizes and weights.
- Ability to work through narrow, confined, elevated, uneven, slippery, or stairway areas.
- Ability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
