About the role

This position is for a Storeperson working from the Sydney location in New South Wales, Australia. The role is centered on keeping warehouse operations smooth, orderly, and efficient while supporting a strong team culture.

What you’ll do

• Handle everyday warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, receiving, dispatching, and moving goods in and out of the facility.
• Load and unload trucks and other heavy vehicles as part of routine operations.
• Work with the Operations Coordinator to plan and organize daily warehouse activities.
• Make sure inbound and outbound work is completed within the expected timeframes.
• Look for practical improvements, growth opportunities, and smarter ways of working.
• Use warehouse systems correctly and help ensure staff are trained to maintain high standards of safety and operational performance.
• Support ongoing improvements in processes, standards, safety, and environmental sustainability.
• Help drive profitability by effectively managing end-to-end operational work.
• Understand customer situations, predict needs, and find ways to improve the quality and range of service provided.

Working relationships

You will work closely with the Operations Coordinator, Warehouse Manager, Purchasing/Receiving team, and the Inventory & Customer Service Officer.

What you’ll need

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar warehouse setting.
• Solid understanding of safe warehouse procedures.
• A current forklift licence is required; having your own car is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with general warehousing work, including receiving, dispatching, loading, unloading, picking, and packing.
• Strong attention to detail and a consistently positive, can-do approach.
• The ability to manage several tasks at once and work independently.
• Good communication skills, including active listening.
• Physical fitness and the ability to perform well under pressure.
