Role Overview

Ertech is hiring a Store Person for its Wangara workshop in Perth, Western Australia. This is a permanent full-time position on a Monday to Friday roster, with immediate commencement available.

What the Role Involves

Reporting to the Quarantine & Logistics Manager, the Store Person will support warehouse, stores, and logistics activities across the Wangara Stores location.

• Manage dispatch and receiving tasks by checking inbound deliveries, matching items to shipment documentation, preparing goods for dispatch, and keeping accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock.
• Carry out cargo repacking, quarantine cleaning, container loading, and container inspections in line with compliance requirements.
• Prepare, load, and send start-up containers and site freight, then receive returned containers, inspect their contents, and either restock or dispose of items as needed.
• Keep the quarantine shed, storage areas, and stock yard tidy, safe, and compliant at all times.
• Perform general labouring duties as required.

Essential Requirements

• A current full car licence is mandatory.
• A valid forklift licence is mandatory.
• Experience in a comparable position is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• A team-oriented attitude and willingness to work collaboratively.
• Ability to complete a pre-employment medical assessment and AOD screening.
• Full legal working rights in Australia.
