About the role
BAE Systems Australia is seeking a Store Person to join its Williamtown, New South Wales team. In this role, you will help keep warehouse and stores operations running accurately and in line with receipt, dispatch, inventory, and storage requirements. You will also be part of a collaborative, supportive team environment.
What you will do
- Take in incoming goods and materials, inspect them, and place them into storage correctly
- Check quantities and item details against delivery paperwork
- Verify delivered goods against the matching purchase order references
- Make sure items are handled, labelled, and tracked properly for traceability
- Assist with despatch tasks, including packing and preparing documents
- Keep the warehouse tidy, safe, and well organised
- Carry out stocktakes and cycle counts
- Update and maintain accurate inventory data in the ERP system
- Support customer deliveries
What you need
- A current forklift licence is required
- A current motor vehicle driver’s licence is required
- Proven experience in warehousing and in receiving and dispatching freight
- Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems is highly desirable
- Good organisational ability and comfort working in a fast-moving, high-pressure environment
- Capacity to obtain and keep a Defence Security Clearance and meet ITAR requirements

This position sits within the Hawk Lead-In Fighter team. The program supports a state-of-the-art fast jet training capability for the Royal Australian Air Force, and is viewed as a model for through-life support contracting.
The Hawk aircraft has a long operating history, with more than 1,000 aircraft used in 18 countries and over 20,000 pilots trained for fast-jet operations.
