This position is part of a compact marketing team responsible for shaping how the brand is perceived publicly. You will collaborate directly with the CEO and the broader team to help establish Gains.com as a recognizable name in gaming and social media.

The Opportunity

Gains.com is looking for a Social Media Lead to take charge of the brand’s presence across all public channels and grow awareness in the gaming space. Social is a key growth focus for the company, and this role offers significant ownership: you will help build the brand, expand the audience, and make social a core growth engine.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who understands internet and gaming culture deeply. You will shape the strategy, define the brand voice, manage channels day to day, and contribute directly to upcoming campaigns and experiments while working closely with the Founders and Head of Growth.

The company is flexible on seniority and title for the right candidate. The main question is whether you can grow a brand and community from scratch through social media.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute the social strategy across Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and X, while producing and curating the day-to-day content mix, including gameplay clips, entertainment, memes, and culturally relevant posts.
• Drive growth in followers, engagement, and community activity, treating those metrics as core weekly targets.
• Serve as the primary contact for players by responding to comments and direct messages and maintaining active conversations across channels.
• Lead influencer campaigns, giveaways, and content releases that build excitement around new features and events, from concept through publication.
• Establish and maintain the Gains brand voice so it feels authentic, playful, and rooted in gaming culture.
• Review engagement and growth data, identify what performs well, and use insights to shape future content decisions.
• Spot emerging memes, gaming updates, and viral trends early so the brand stays relevant in the conversation.
• Work within brand and compliance guidelines in a regulated environment, keeping the tone engaging without crossing boundaries.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven success in growing a social account, online community, or brand, preferably for audiences in gaming, crypto, or startups.
• Strong writing and storytelling ability, with a clear sense of humor and cultural awareness.
• Good judgment in managing brand voice and deciding what content should or should not be published.
• Comfort using social media management, scheduling, and analytics tools.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a flexible schedule, including some evenings and weekends when timely engagement is needed.

Bonus Experience

• Background or familiarity with gaming or crypto.
• Experience building a community or account from an early stage.
• Exposure to influencer outreach and creator partnerships.
