About the role
As a Service Consultant in the Personal Banking team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality customer service at the first point of contact, handling financial transactions, and spotting additional customer needs so they can be directed to the right sales channel. The role also involves supporting branch operations, following banking policies, and contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide consistently strong customer service in line with ANZ service standards.
- Handle customer transactions efficiently and accurately while building a better understanding of customer needs through tools such as NBC.
- Work closely with team members to meet shared goals and deliver strong results.
- Complete cash management tasks in a careful and compliant way, aligned with bank processes and policies.
- Follow ANZ and branch procedures, including cash-holding controls, cash deliveries, repatriation arrangements, and teller cash coordination.
- Support branch coverage where needed and remain flexible to work across locations.
- Use strong communication and problem-solving skills to support customers and refer them to the appropriate sales channel when required.
Working style
The role requires mobility for site visits, willingness to travel frequently across project locations, and the ability to work at any branch where support is needed. A driving capability is preferred.
