Role overview
We are looking for a Senior Sales Manager in Doha, Qatar to lead sales performance, strengthen strategic client relationships, and help drive profitable business growth. This role requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders, product teams, and cross-functional partners to shape market-ready offerings and deliver results aligned with company goals.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver against weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales commitments.
- Build and sustain relationships with CXO-level stakeholders.
- Manage client relationships in line with company sales standards and guidelines.
- Maintain the team’s sales pipeline and ensure accurate tracking in Salesforce.com CRM.
- Keep the funnel updated at all times across Salesforce.com and related CRM tools.
- Track team performance closely and provide the support needed to meet KPIs.
- Work with stakeholders to shape products that fit market needs.
- Train team members on new technology, processes, and business workflows.
- Support internal business needs through coordination with stakeholders.
- Help the team close profitable, high-value deals for the Qatar business.
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual targets set by the Head of Department.
- Ensure all business activity is carried out with integrity and in line with company values.
- Monitor the market and help the product team stay current on trends and developments.
- Make sure team targets are achieved.
- Hold regular customer meetings with CXO contacts together with the Sales Manager.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to help deliver outcomes quickly.
- Collaborate with different departments to ensure internal processes are followed.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
- At least 12 years of experience in B2B sales and/or account management.
- Fluent English is required; fluent Arabic is preferred.
- Strong target orientation and a proven history of delivering results.
- Experience in team management.
- Solid command of account management principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to champion client needs and improve service outcomes.
- Ability to apply customer relationship selling methods effectively.
- Good understanding of customer challenges, issues, and business drivers.
- Skilled in negotiation and securing commitment in different situations.
- Ability to recognize buying signals and identify closing opportunities.
- Prior exposure to the GCC market.
