Role Overview

The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition is accountable for leading recruiting strategy and execution across the organization. This position is designed to create scalable hiring processes, attract high-caliber talent, and deliver an excellent candidate journey. The role works closely with business leaders to forecast hiring needs, raise the quality of recruitment practices, and support business growth through strong talent acquisition.

Key Responsibilities

Create proactive hiring plans with senior leadership that align with business goals and priorities.
Turn workforce forecasts into focused recruiting roadmaps for corporate, field, and leadership positions.
Deliver insights on market talent trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive hiring approaches.
Lead, coach, and develop the talent acquisition team to achieve efficient and high-quality hiring results.
Handle end-to-end recruitment for senior or business-critical roles when needed.
Promote consistent interviewing methods, evaluation standards, and alignment with hiring managers.
Build and refine scalable recruiting workflows, tools, and reporting structures.
Monitor and interpret recruiting data such as time-to-fill, quality of hire, funnel conversion, and diversity metrics.
Improve ATS and sourcing technologies to increase recruiter effectiveness, including the use of AI-enabled tools.
Strengthen employer branding across digital channels, campus relationships, and industry networks.
Ensure candidates experience a smooth, inclusive, and engaging hiring process.
Work with marketing and communications teams to shape and share the talent brand story.
Develop talent pipelines for critical roles and future leadership needs.
Use creative sourcing methods across professional communities, referrals, events, and newer recruiting platforms.
Build partnerships with universities, community groups, and external recruiting vendors.
Embed inclusive hiring practices throughout the entire recruitment lifecycle.
Track diversity in hiring pipelines and apply actions to broaden representation.

Required Qualifications

8–10+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition or recruiting leadership.
Background in leading recruiting teams and designing scalable hiring strategies.
Demonstrated success hiring for corporate, digital, creative, and operational functions.
Strong ability to manage stakeholders and partner effectively with business leaders.
Analytical, data-informed approach to recruiting strategy and decision-making.
Experience with modern recruitment systems and technologies, including ATS platforms and AI-enabled tools.
High standards of conduct, integrity, and confidentiality.
Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and contribute to a transparent, accountable culture.
Comfortable representing the brand within the industry and broader market.
Capability to attract, develop, and retain high-performing talent.
Balanced leadership style with both strong presence and approachability.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $138,000 to $159,000.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This is a full-time headquarters-based role in Anaheim. As a national retailer, occasional evening and weekend work may be required during peak periods. The position is based in a professional office setting and uses standard office equipment regularly.

Regular communication by speaking and listening is required.
Frequent sitting, standing, walking, and use of hands and arms is expected.
Close, distance, and depth vision, along with the ability to adjust focus, are needed.
Work may involve an open environment with changing temperatures and standard lighting.
Extended computer and mobile phone use with frequent interruptions is required.
Travel within the building using elevators or stairs may be necessary.
Hotel, air, and car travel may also be required.
