Senior Consultant - Endur Functional

About the role

This position is for an experienced Endur functional consultant to join a growing ETRM/CTRM practice in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on consulting assignments across implementation, upgrade, and support work for Endur, with a strong emphasis on commodity and energy trading and risk management processes. The consultant will contribute subject-matter expertise in areas such as deal modelling, valuation, risk, scheduling, invoicing, and accounting, helping deliver practical solutions that align with client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Work with clients and prospects to understand business processes, identify requirements, and highlight opportunities for process improvement and change adoption.
• Contribute to functional delivery activities covering solution design, configuration, testing, and the handover of Endur support to operations.
• Maintain and support existing solutions by handling defects, improvements, and operational issues.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation such as business requirements, design documents, test plans, test results, and related deliverables.
• Use recognised implementation standards, documentation practices, and issue-resolution workflows for all work products.
• Partner with technical teams to develop custom solutions tailored to client-specific needs.
• Offer functional and industry guidance where required.
• Apply appropriate resourcing approaches based on project complexity, risks, and the skill levels of team members and modules involved.
• Communicate effectively with both client and internal stakeholders, including managing change and setting realistic expectations.
• Train and support others on Endur functionality and broader ETRM/CTRM topics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, or a closely related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 7 years of hands-on Endur experience in consulting, business analysis, functional support, QA, or IT support roles, including working knowledge of V19 and later.
• Minimum 4 years of industry experience.
• Solid understanding of relevant Endur functional areas and modules.
• Experience performing thorough testing and quality assurance to confirm solution performance, reliability, and functional correctness.
• Background working in cross-cultural and geographically distributed teams, with flexibility to support multiple time zones when needed.
• Experience delivering results as part of a project team with limited supervision.
• Willingness to travel to client sites for limited periods as required by the project.
• Deep knowledge of Endur modules and commodity or energy operations, including V19 and newer.
• Understanding of Endur risk and valuation capabilities, including MTM, PnL, VAR, and end-of-day automation through TPM and Services Manager.
• Strong grasp of Endur customisation approaches for implementation, reporting support, complex desktops, APM pages, and pre/post-processing logic.
• Awareness of Endur architecture and implementation practices that help optimise the platform for client solutions.
• Functional understanding of gas, power, renewables, LNG, or crude and refined products.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, organisational, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently or collaboratively, and perform well in a fast-moving, detail-focused environment.
• Preferred exposure to commodity trading, risk, or logistics in large enterprise settings.
• Preferred background in front, middle, or back office processes such as trading, risk, logistics, or settlements.
• Experience with gMotion or cMotion is considered an advantage.
