Senior Business Analyst

Role Overview

This position is for an accomplished Senior Business Analyst who can drive the rollout and improvement of major enterprise platforms and digital transformation programmes. The role calls for strong capability in business analysis, stakeholder coordination, requirements handling, and solution support, with preference for candidates who have worked in Government, Finance, or Tax environments.

Experience with tax administration platforms, regulatory systems, compliance solutions, or finance transformation work will be considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation, enhancement, and ongoing refinement of enterprise-scale systems used for regulatory and operational business functions.
• Work closely with stakeholders to gather, assess, confirm, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Partner with teams in Legal, Compliance, Audit, Enforcement, Finance, and other operational departments to interpret business needs and convert them into practical functional solutions.
• Develop, update, and manage Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), user stories, process maps, use cases, and workflow documents.
• Review current processes, identify weaknesses or gaps, and recommend improvements that strengthen efficiency and service delivery.
• Serve as the main point of coordination between business users, project teams, developers, QA teams, and vendors during the full project lifecycle.
• Contribute to solution design, requirement checks, change request handling, and impact analysis to keep outcomes aligned with business goals.
• Take part in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect review discussions, and production readiness tasks to support smooth deployment.
• Assist with business process enhancement and digital transformation efforts across several workstreams.
• Maintain complete, traceable project documentation in line with governance requirements.
• Support post-launch reviews and continuous improvement by collecting user feedback and proposing refinements.

Required Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, including exposure to enterprise system implementation projects.
• Solid background in business process analysis, requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and documentation.
• Hands-on experience creating BRDs, FRS, use cases, user stories, workflow diagrams, and process documentation.
• Good understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall delivery methods.
• Strong analytical thinking, communication, and problem-solving ability.
