Scrum Master / Project Lead

Role overview

This position is for an experienced Scrum Master / Project Lead based in Perth, Western Australia. The role sits inside a large enterprise setting and blends agile facilitation with hands-on project leadership. You will work with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders to support the delivery of technology initiatives.

Location and eligibility

Candidates must already be located in Australia and must hold Australian Permanent Residency or Australian Citizenship. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this opportunity.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate agile ceremonies and keep delivery activities moving effectively.
• Own project planning, timelines, risks, and interdependencies.
• Monitor sprint progress, key metrics, and overall project status.
• Work closely with Product Owners and stakeholder groups to achieve delivery goals.
• Maintain compliance with PMO governance requirements and delivery standards.

Required experience and skills

• Proven background in both Scrum Master and Project Manager/Lead roles.
• Strong working knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and agile delivery practices.
• Practical experience using JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, MIRO, and MS Project.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability.
• Experience in mining technology or AHS-related projects is considered a strong advantage.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is expected. Professional certifications such as CSM, PMP, PMI-ACP, or PRINCE2 are preferred.
