Role Overview

This position is focused on keeping the bakery clean and sanitary to AIB (American Institute of Baking) standards. The role supports food safety, sanitation routines, and general facility readiness during the overnight shift.

Key Duties

• Carry out daily walk-around checks and routine sanitation tasks.
• Follow the sanitation plan assigned by the Sanitation Manager and the preventive sanitation program.
• Take part in monthly self-inspections and complete required follow-up actions.
• Support monthly safety and health inspections and respond to any findings.
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to coordinate sanitation activities.
• Help organize cleaning schedules for production staff during down days.
• Carry out in-house pest control responsibilities and stay in contact with the external pest control contractor.
• Prepare the bakery for AIB and VIP visits.
• Handle limited non-sanitation tasks when needed, such as moving trays, shipping product, or helping on the production line during emergencies.
• Record equipment issues on the Mechanical Defect sheet and report them to supervisors.
• Store tools properly and keep the sanitation storage room neat and organized.
• Follow all GMP requirements for food processing environments without exception.
• Contribute positively as a team member and cooperate with colleagues at all times.

Shift and Pay

The regular schedule is Friday to Tuesday, from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am. The role pays $25.34 per hour, plus a $1.50 per hour night shift premium. During the training period from July to September, the schedule is Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, and the pay is $25.34 per hour.

Working Conditions

• The job involves regular exposure to noise, dirt, dust, fumes, and working in darkness.
