Role Summary
As Sales Manager, you will create and implement a detailed sales and marketing strategy covering both new business and existing client accounts. The core goal of the position is to surpass revenue targets by using a mix of outside sales activity, property visits, sales presentations, and relationship-building within the community.
Travel is an important part of this role and should be seen as a valuable part of the job rather than a limitation. Success in the position depends on the ability to build strong client relationships, communicate clearly, and negotiate effectively. A positive approach and solid hospitality industry knowledge are essential for identifying opportunities, understanding market movement, and positioning Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh as the preferred choice for premium customers.
Property Overview
Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh is located in the heart of the capital inside the 99-storey Kingdom Tower. Its location provides excellent access to major business districts, retail destinations, and cultural attractions. The property includes 276 spacious, naturally lit rooms, of which 39 are suites.
The main business areas for this role include Sales & Marketing, F&B, and Rooms. The hotel features three restaurant outlets with seating for 250 guests, along with event space made up of ballroom and meeting rooms totaling 7,213 square meters (77,640 square feet). The spa and wellness area includes 8 treatment rooms for male guests, 1 treatment room for female guests, and a fully equipped fitness centre. The spa team consists of 25 colleagues dedicated to delivering high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and carry out a sales and marketing plan for both prospective and existing accounts.
- Drive business growth and work toward achieving and exceeding revenue goals.
- Conduct outside sales calls, site visits, sales tours, and local networking activities.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with corporate and hospitality clients.
- Identify business opportunities and convert them into confirmed revenue.
- Use market awareness and hospitality knowledge to position the hotel competitively.
- Support sales efforts across Sales & Marketing, Rooms, and F&B segments.
- Travel as required for business development and client management.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Saudi national status is required.
- At least 3 years of experience selling luxury hotel services, especially negotiated corporate accounts.
- Strong negotiating ability and a demonstrated history of meeting sales and profitability targets.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic.
- Strong planning and organization abilities.
- Experience with cluster or multi-property sales is beneficial.
- Willingness to travel as part of the role.
