About the role
IU International University of Applied Sciences is looking for a full-time Sales Development Representative (m/w/d) to join its B2B acquisition team immediately. The role is limited to 2 years and can be performed either at one of the company’s locations or fully from home. The position supports IU’s mission of making education accessible to everyone.
Your impact
- Reach out to potential corporate partners through cold calling and other channels to promote the dual study offering.
- Turn leads into successful deals with a strong focus on performance and closing.
- Build lasting business relationships and impress both new and former practice partners with consultative, high-quality advice.
- Work in an agile, varied, and fast-moving environment within a dynamic organization.
- Operate against clear KPIs and target systems, such as daily call volumes, weekly goals, and closing rates.
What you bring
- About 2 years of experience in sales, ideally in cold calling, telemarketing, or B2B inside sales, along with an understanding of selling complex products.
- A strong commercial mindset, resilience, drive, and a clear focus on closing business.
- Confidence in making first contact, self-motivation, target orientation, and the ability to stay composed after rejection.
- Comfort working with KPIs and CRM tools such as Salesforce and Twilio.
- A dependable, structured, and collaborative working style, even in high-pressure situations.
- Completed vocational training or a completed degree, plus fluent business-level German.
