Role overview
This full-time retail leadership role focuses on helping customers find complete solutions across technology, services, furniture, and print. The supervisor builds strong customer relationships, earns trust quickly, and serves as a knowledgeable point of contact for product and service recommendations. The position calls for a genuine interest in the brand, its technology and print offerings, furniture, and related services. It uses proven selling methods to actively engage shoppers, increase conversion, and grow sales across the store’s full assortment.
In addition to customer engagement, this role helps create a service-first, community-oriented store culture aligned with the company’s 5C values: Caring, Committed, Creative, Collaborative, and Courageous. The supervisor also trains associates on technology items, selling approaches, add-on opportunities, services, and sales-driving behaviors.
This job requires a flexible schedule based on business needs, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays. Full-time supervisors must also be able to handle external key carrier duties such as opening and closing the store. The role is central to improving sales performance, service quality, operational discipline, and team development.
Primary responsibilities
- Build customer trust, strengthen loyalty, and deliver a consistently high level of service.
- Use the selling process to recommend the best overall solution and suitable add-on products or services.
- Stay informed about promotions and featured offers, and explain relevant products and services clearly to customers.
- Use communication tools to get help on the sales floor and coordinate customer support across the store.
- Assess customer needs and identify the most complete solution for each situation.
- Guide, support, and train store associates, including print services team members.
- Lead training on the business model and the full service offering.
- Coach associates through observation and feedback to improve performance and build trust and loyalty.
- Share performance, certification, and competency feedback with the General Manager.
- Handle other related duties as needed.
- Process merchandise accurately and efficiently while following procedures, timelines, and visual presentation standards.
- Spot process gaps and help implement improvements that reduce waste and inefficiency.
- Support loss prevention compliance as a store leader.
- Work with the General Manager to coach associates for stronger performance.
- Help improve sales and profitability through conversion, average order value, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
- Protect store safety and security when other managers are unavailable.
- Carry out opening and closing tasks, including alarm activation/deactivation, cash handling, and daily balancing.
- Complete all duties tied to external key carrier status.
Education and experience
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and studies in business, retail management, or a related area are considered an advantage. The role typically needs 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in retail, sales, customer service, and/or supervision. Candidates should also be comfortable working with technology, print processes, equipment, and POS systems.

Compensation and benefits
The hourly pay range for this position is 17.00 to 20.00, subject to compliance with all state and local minimum wage laws. The company offers a competitive compensation package, a benefits program that includes a 401(k), and opportunities for career growth. Eligible employees may also participate in an incentive program under the terms of the Incentive Plan.
