Retail Store Manager

Role Overview

Reliance Retail is seeking a store manager who can keep day-to-day retail activities running smoothly, support sales performance, and ensure the outlet operates efficiently. The role combines store operations, inventory control, customer service, in-store marketing, team leadership, and onboarding support for new hires.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the store’s daily functioning and work toward achieving sales targets.
• Guide staff in routine tasks such as attending to customers, taking stock counts, handling cash reconciliation, and supporting in-store promotions.
• Allocate duties to the appropriate team members to keep operations organized.
• Participate in hiring and help new employees settle into their roles through onboarding and training support.
• Make sure the store follows applicable health and safety standards.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain proper stock management at the outlet.

Required Background

• Applicants should bring 5 to 10 years of experience in retail and retail management.
• Experience in training employees and selling effectively is important for this role.
• Strong communication, leadership, customer service, and management abilities are needed.

Additional Information

This position is based in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India and is a full-time, on-site role.
