Role overview
This position is for a restaurant manager at KFC in Woodstock, Ontario. The role is focused on overseeing day-to-day restaurant operations, leading staff, maintaining service quality, and ensuring the business runs efficiently and in line with safety and operational standards.
Education and experience
The preferred background includes a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year. Candidates should also bring 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience.
Key duties
- Track employee performance and provide ongoing supervision.
- Organize and coordinate the restaurant’s daily workflow.
- Hire new staff as needed.
- Create and manage staff schedules.
- Reconcile cash, prepare balance sheets, complete cash reports, and fill out related documents.
- Carry out formal performance evaluations.
- Determine the cost of products and services.
- Make sure health and safety rules are consistently followed.
- Handle customer issues, complaints, and concerns.
- Deliver strong customer service.
- Direct, control, and assess overall daily operations.
