Role Overview
We are seeking an energetic and proactive professional who enjoys making connections and has a genuine interest in financial markets. This position suits someone who likes developing relationships, contributing ideas, and helping shape engaging content.
In this role, you will support audience growth for Citywire by strengthening links with investment research audiences and raising awareness of the brand, events, and editorial output. The job involves frequent travel across the UK and regular interaction with members of the investment management community, both in person and through digital channels.
What You Will Do
- Build and maintain relationships with investment professionals across the UK, developing a strong understanding of the wider investment management landscape while staying in touch through video meetings, phone calls, and email.
- Increase awareness and engagement around Citywire’s events, websites, research, and other offerings among the target audience.
- Identify and invite leading investment professionals to attend high-profile UK events, and support event delivery by meeting delegates and handling on-site responsibilities.
- Work with the audience to develop features and contribute fresh ideas for future content.
What We Are Looking For
- Someone who is confident at building rapport, engaging a range of stakeholders, and presenting ideas in a persuasive way.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, with public speaking experience considered an advantage.
- Proven ability to stay organised, manage pressure, and meet deadlines.
- A natural curiosity about investment markets and asset management.
- A self-motivated approach, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
