About the Role
As a Regulatory Specialist, you will act as the key link between product innovation and compliance, helping ensure new and existing products are launched responsibly and in line with applicable rules. In this position, your judgment, precision, and regulatory insight will directly support product development, labeling governance, and commercialization efforts.
You will collaborate with teams across the business to bring products to market with confidence, reduce compliance risk, and improve the way regulatory work supports speed and accuracy.
Role Summary
- Compensation is set at $75,000 to $95,000 per year.
- This is a remote, full-time position.
- The role focuses on regulatory support for product compliance, label and packaging review, certification documentation, and launch readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Verify that products comply with relevant requirements for dietary supplements, foods, cosmetics, and consumer products.
- Examine and sign off on labels, packaging, website content, advertising, and promotional statements.
- Perform regulatory reviews for new launches, formula changes, packaging revisions, and product extensions.
- Track changes in regulations and share any business impact with internal teams.
- Coordinate label and packaging approval activities across cross-functional stakeholders.
- Keep accurate records and maintain organized archives for labels, packaging specifications, and artwork.
- Provide regulatory direction during product development and commercialization work.
- Handle certification files, renewal processes, audits, and other compliance-related requests.
Required Experience and Background
- Hands-on experience with regulatory compliance in consumer products, dietary supplements, foods, cosmetics, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of label rules, packaging compliance, and review of marketing claims.
- Experience managing review and approval processes across multiple teams.
- Strong ability to organize documents and maintain control of records.
- Capability to evaluate regulatory risk and present practical recommendations.
- Clear written and spoken communication skills.
- Comfort managing several priorities and deadlines at the same time.
Preferred Experience
- Background supporting certifications such as NSF, Non-GMO, Organic, Kosher, or Halal.
- Experience working with contract manufacturers, packaging vendors, or certification organizations.
- Prior involvement in commercialization or new product launch projects.
- Exposure to audits, inspections, or broader compliance programs.
