Role overview
This post offers an opportunity for an experienced nurse to step into an important leadership position in a specialist, high-pressure clinical setting. The role focuses on coordinating the day-to-day running of the cath labs and supporting the safe, efficient delivery of diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.
What you will do
As a Band 6 nurse, you will help oversee daily activity, contribute to decision-making, and support the wider team in maintaining high standards of care within a busy cardiac environment.
What we are looking for
Applicants should bring solid clinical experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead confidently in a changing and demanding setting. Experience in cardiology or catheter labs would be an advantage, although it is not essential if you have relevant acute care experience that can transfer into the role.
