Role overview
ECCO Gulf Majorel Qatar is hiring a Recruitment Supervisor for its Doha HR team. This position calls for someone who can think strategically, work proactively, and oversee hiring operations that support the company’s growing need for talented professionals. The role works in close coordination with department leaders to keep recruitment practices aligned with business objectives.
What you will do
- Take charge of the recruitment team and ensure the full hiring cycle is handled smoothly.
- Oversee end-to-end recruitment activities so roles are filled on time according to workforce plans and business priorities.
- Coach and guide recruiters to improve output, quality of hires, and compliance with service-level commitments.
- Create and execute sourcing plans using job boards, social platforms, employee referrals, and external partnerships.
- Track hiring metrics such as time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, and conversion rates, then use the findings to improve performance.
- Work alongside HR and operations stakeholders to clarify staffing needs and upcoming workforce demand.
- Protect and enhance the applicant experience from first contact through onboarding.
- Support interviewing for critical roles and assist the team with screening and selection.
- Prepare accurate recruitment reports, dashboards, and hiring forecasts for management.
- Ensure recruiting activities follow company rules, labor regulations, and internal standards.
- Contribute to employer branding efforts that help attract strong candidates and strengthen the company’s reputation in the market.
Candidate profile
The ideal applicant should bring solid experience in hiring and talent management, along with strong people skills and a strategic approach to recruitment operations.
Required background
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in recruitment and onboarding.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership, supervisory, or management role.
- Strong understanding of recruitment workflows and compliance with employment law.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Strong planning and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage daily, weekly, and monthly deadlines.
- Experience handling a requisition load of more than 20 open roles.
- Knowledge of behavioral interviewing methods.
- Comfort using applicant tracking systems and HR platforms.
- Analytical ability to read data and translate it into improved hiring practices.
- Strong English communication skills in reading, writing, and speaking.
- Arabic fluency is required.

This role is based in Doha, Qatar and is a full-time onsite position.
