This Cardiff-based Recruitment Consultant position focuses on social care recruitment and is structured as a hybrid role with one day working from home. The base salary is up to £30,000, with uncapped commission on top.
The role is designed for someone who wants their work to have a visible impact. By placing the right people into social care services, you help keep vital support systems staffed, safe and functioning well.
You will manage your own recruitment desk for Brook Street, a long-established UK recruitment business with a specialism in social care. The job calls for strong relationship-building, ownership of your day-to-day priorities and a consistent focus on delivery.

Key responsibilities
- Take charge of your own social care recruitment desk and grow it independently.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with local services across Wales.
- Identify, screen and prepare candidates from the first conversation through to the first shift.
- Keep your online profile and presence active so that both candidates and clients see you as dependable and responsive.
- Provide steady, high-quality recruitment support in a busy, fast-changing environment.

- Demonstrable sales experience, ideally gained in a fast-paced setting.
- Confidence in managing your own workload and setting priorities effectively.
- A composed, practical approach when plans change unexpectedly.
- Strong communication skills and a reliable work ethic.
- Access to a car and a valid driving licence for client visits.
