Role Overview
Lennar is a major U.S. homebuilder known for creating quality homes, supporting the communities where it operates, and offering its associates opportunities to grow. The company is seeking a strategic recruiter who can take a consultative approach to hiring and use modern tools, including AI-enabled resources, to find and engage strong candidates. This role focuses on creating a positive, high-touch experience for both internal partners and external candidates.
What You’ll Do
- Work closely with hiring managers and business leaders to understand staffing needs and recommend effective recruiting strategies.
- Use AI-based tools and other modern sourcing methods to identify and connect with strong candidates.
- Find talent through job boards, social networks, professional communities, and other recruiting channels.
- Provide a thoughtful, responsive candidate experience with clear communication, timely follow-ups, and a personalized approach.
- Handle the recruitment process from requisition initiation through onboarding, keeping the process smooth for all stakeholders.
- Review resumes, conduct interviews, and assess skills and fit against role requirements and company culture.
- Monitor labor market trends and competitor activity to inform hiring decisions and guide recruiters and managers.
- Support employer branding through career messaging, events, and other brand-building efforts.
- Track recruiting metrics and use data to improve hiring effectiveness and process efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of talent acquisition experience with a strong record of sourcing and hiring qualified candidates.
- Strong consultative ability and proven relationship-building skills.
- Comfort working with applicant tracking systems and other recruiting software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication along with strong interpersonal skills.
- Well organized, attentive to detail, and able to handle multiple priorities at once.
- Commitment to delivering a strong candidate and stakeholder experience.
- Experience in homebuilding or real estate is an advantage.
Compensation and Benefits
The expected annual base salary for this position is between $76,600 and $95,800, depending on factors such as qualifications, location-based pay differences, and business needs. This role may also qualify for bonuses and commissions.
