Role Overview
A construction materials company in County Kildare is looking for a dependable and professional Ready Mix Driver for a permanent full-time role. The position is based in Robertstown, County Kildare, and is being recruited on behalf of the client by FlexiStaff Recruitment. This opportunity is suited to an experienced driver who wants stable long-term work, competitive hourly pay, set working hours, and the chance to earn bonus payments. Training may also be considered for candidates with the right attitude and willingness to grow in the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive and operate a ready-mix concrete truck in a safe and efficient manner.
- Transport concrete to customer locations throughout Kildare and nearby counties.
- Complete deliveries punctually while maintaining a high standard of service.
- Perform daily inspections of the vehicle and handle basic maintenance tasks.
- Keep the truck clean and in line with company expectations.
- Follow road traffic laws, workplace safety rules, and internal policies at all times.
- Stay in regular contact with dispatch, site teams, and customers to coordinate deliveries.
Working Hours
The role follows a Monday to Friday schedule from 7:00am to 5:00pm.
Pay and Benefits
- Hourly pay of €18.35.
- Permanent, full-time employment.
- Cash bonus of €600, paid twice each year.

Requirements
Applicants should have the essential driving and site compliance certifications needed for the role. Experience with ready-mix or concrete mixer vehicles is preferred, along with the ability to operate 4-axle vehicles. A strong commitment to safety, compliance, and clear communication is also important.
Essential Qualifications
- Full Category C driving licence.
- Valid Driver CPC.
- Digital tachograph card.
- Safe Pass.
- Manual Handling certificate.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience driving ready-mix or concrete mixer trucks.
- Experience operating 4-axle vehicles.
- Good understanding of safety requirements and compliance standards.
- Strong communication and customer service ability.
