The business works across the live entertainment space and supports well-known names such as Formula 1, Metallica, and Disney on Ice. Its wider purpose is to become the world’s ticketing engine by creating the systems that handle complex ticketing needs and shape memorable fan experiences.
The company operates across countries and time zones, moving quickly and encouraging innovation. It places value on curiosity, craftsmanship, and ambition, and it works in a remote-first way while still bringing teams together in person from time to time.
Role overview
This position is for a QA Analyst who will help shape and improve the quality assurance process across web and mobile products. The role is focused mainly on manual testing, with room to grow into automation over time. You will help ensure the products meet business requirements and provide a smooth, dependable user experience.
You will work closely with developers, product owners, UX designers, and customer success colleagues to check the full customer journey, strengthen product quality, and support reliable releases.
What you will do
- Check products against customer experience expectations and documented product requirements.
- Take responsibility for quality assurance across Nuweb’s web and mobile products from start to finish.
- Write clear bug reports and support issue prioritisation.
- Work with customers to understand problems, trace likely causes, and narrow the impact of reported defects.
- Spot usability problems and missing features that could improve the user journey.
- Promote good QA practices to support efficient and high-quality releases.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to improve the delivery process from requirements through to release.
What the role requires
- Hands-on experience in manual testing for both web and mobile applications, with strong attention to detail and a test-first mindset.
- A solid understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Experience creating and running test cases, test scripts, and test plans in a careful and structured way.
- Good knowledge of user experience testing.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to document findings clearly and present ideas well.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively with developers, designers, and product managers.
- Strong organisation and problem-solving abilities.
Nice to have
- Exposure to front-end technologies such as HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
- Experience with bug tracking or workflow tools such as Linear or JIRA.
- Knowledge of the ticketing or cashless payments sector.
- Familiarity with Playwright or a similar test automation framework.
Benefits and workplace
- Competitive pay and a clear path for career growth.
- An annual bonus linked to company revenue.
- 24 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, rising to 28 days with tenure.
- A creative, collaborative, and enjoyable team environment.
- Flexible working arrangements.
- Learning and development support.
Working style and culture
The company moves quickly and expects the same pace from its teams. It values practical output, openness, and talent development from within. Financials, shareholder updates, and strategic direction are shared openly, and curiosity is encouraged so people understand how decisions are made.
Remote work has been a core part of the business since lockdown and remains a major reason it has been able to attract strong talent. Even so, the company still brings teams together in person periodically, at least twice a year.
Additional information
This role is aligned to US working hours. The company description and culture statement indicate that remote working is the default approach, with occasional in-person team meetings. Applicants should be comfortable with a fast-moving environment and a culture built around openness, impact, and continuous improvement.
