Project Engineer – Fit-Out

Role overview

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Doha, Qatar. The Project Engineer will lead fit-out projects from start to finish, making sure each assignment is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality level.

Core duties

• Plan and coordinate project timelines and work sequences.
• Allocate labor, materials, and other resources efficiently across the project.
• Work closely with vendors, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to keep execution aligned.
• Monitor site progress and keep project activities moving according to milestones.
• Handle logistics and supply-related coordination to support smooth delivery.
• Carry out inspections to confirm workmanship, specifications, and quality expectations are being met.
• Identify issues during execution and drive timely solutions to reduce delays and disruption.
• Track procurement activity and speed up follow-ups so materials and services arrive when needed.

Qualifications and experience

The role requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Project Management, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline. The ideal candidate should bring at least 5 years of hands-on experience managing interior fit-out projects. Background in expediting, logistics coordination, and supply chain oversight is important. Prior involvement in fit-out or interior design work will be considered a strong advantage.
