Production Manager

Role overview

This part-time, on-site position in Dubai is focused on managing the full production cycle for health news content. The Production Manager will make sure stories move smoothly from planning through publication while maintaining strong editorial quality and visual presentation.

What you will do

You will coordinate daily content plans, keep production workflows on track, and ensure output stays aligned with the platform’s editorial priorities. The role involves working closely with writers, designers, and videographers to prepare content for digital channels and keep all materials accurate, compliant, and polished.

You will also monitor timelines, resolve operational bottlenecks, and improve processes so breaking news and planned features are produced efficiently. In addition, you will review performance metrics, recommend ways to improve content formats, and help strengthen the tools and practices used in production.

Qualifications and working expectations

The role calls for strong production management capability, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and resource planning for media or digital content. Practical experience handling end-to-end online content production and familiarity with digital publishing tools and formats are important.

Excellent organization and time management are essential, along with the ability to juggle priorities and work under tight deadlines in a fast-moving news setting. A sharp eye for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy are especially important when dealing with health-related information and official announcements.

You should also bring solid communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with editorial and creative teams. Knowledge of health news, public health, or prior experience in healthcare or news/media environments will be an added advantage.

English proficiency is required, and Arabic proficiency would be a strong plus for handling regional health content and sources. The position requires comfort working on-site in Dubai during agreed part-time hours, with flexibility for occasional schedule changes when urgent news coverage arises.

A bachelor’s degree in media, communications, journalism, public health, or a related discipline is preferred, though equivalent practical experience is also acceptable.
