Role overview

The organization is looking for a seasoned manufacturing leader to take charge of the foundry and machining operations as Plant Head / Plant Incharge and ensure strong overall plant performance.

What you'll do

• Direct and coordinate all plant activities for a team of 150 to 200 employees, including around 30 supervisors, managers, and department leaders.
• Own production planning and control activities to meet delivery schedules and output targets.
• Work closely with the Sales team so customer commitments are fulfilled on time.
• Raise operational efficiency through better labour productivity and cost-saving initiatives.
• Track New Product Development schedules and ensure projects are executed within agreed timelines.
• Maintain strong plant upkeep, including maintenance systems, housekeeping, and 5S implementation.
• Handle operational HR matters such as workforce coordination and discipline management.
• Review consumption of material and resources to improve cost effectiveness.
• Coordinate across Production, Maintenance, PPC, Projects, HR, and Sales to keep plant functions aligned.
• Ensure the Quality team reports directly to the Plant Incharge and foster a continuous improvement mindset.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate is a hands-on manufacturing professional with strong plant leadership experience, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple functions across the shop floor and leadership team.

Eligibility

Applicants should hold a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or another relevant engineering field. A background in machining, automotive manufacturing, or related engineering industries is preferred. Foundry experience is not mandatory.

Experience required

15 to 25 years of manufacturing experience, with substantial exposure to plant-level leadership and responsibility for teams of 150 to 200 employees.
