Role overview

North West Hospital and Health Service is looking for a motivated Physiotherapist to become part of its Allied Health team in a permanent full-time role. The position offers exposure to both inpatient and outpatient care, a varied clinical workload, continuous learning opportunities, and the chance to contribute meaningfully to community health and wellbeing.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be part of a cooperative multidisciplinary environment and provide evidence-informed physiotherapy services across multiple clinical settings. Provide thorough physiotherapy assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation services across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Partner with multidisciplinary colleagues to deliver person-centred care and improve patient outcomes.
Build your clinical capability through supervision, ongoing professional development, and involvement in education and quality improvement initiatives.
Support a positive team culture and, where suitable, offer guidance to students and less experienced team members.

Working with us

Eligible health practitioners can receive an extra three days of professional development leave each year, giving a total of six days annually.
Eligible practitioners in designated remote locations are entitled to a professional development allowance of $3,512.00 per year.
Rural and Remote incentive: Category D allowance of $431.22 per fortnight.
Salary packaging options are available, offering potential tax savings.
Transfer and appointment expenses may be negotiated.

Requirements

Applicants must hold a tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy and current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia. The position also requires a C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.

A relevant tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy is mandatory, along with the appropriate registration and licences.
Pre-employment screening, including a criminal history check, will be completed for the selected candidate.
This is a VPD risk role and may require proof of vaccination or immunity for Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
A probationary period may apply.
