Role Overview
The organization is looking for a caring and capable Personal Caregiver to support clients with day-to-day needs while maintaining their comfort, safety, and overall well-being.
Key Duties
- Deliver household support such as cleaning, meal preparation, laundry, and general home management.
- Provide companionship and support clients when attending community outings, activities, and events.
- Carry out personal care tasks according to the care plan.
- Promote the emotional, spiritual, and physical comfort and safety of each client.
- Help clients with daily living activities based on their individual needs.
- Perform assigned specialized procedures when training has been completed and competency is current.
- Monitor client condition, keep records in line with company standards, and notify the Supervisor or Office promptly about any unusual events or changes in condition.
- Follow infection prevention and control practices at all times.

Requirements
- Completion of an accredited caregiver training program, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
- Solid understanding of caregiving principles and customer service.
- Effective spoken and written English communication; French is considered an advantage.
- Ability to provide high-quality community care based on current practices.
- Physical ability to assist with movement and repositioning, and to lift up to 23 kg while also squatting, bending, standing, and reaching.
- Reliable transportation; a driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are assets.
- Ability to provide a clear criminal background check and Vulnerable Sector Check.
