Part-Time Pet Sitter

About the Role

Seeking a dynamic individual for a part-time pet sitter position that offers an active work environment. This role involves providing in-home care and dog walking services for pets while their owners are away. It's an excellent opportunity to spend your days engaging with animals rather than being desk-bound.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive care for pets during their owners' absence.
• Conduct dog walks and provide engaging activities for canine companions.
• Administer food and ensure pets have constant access to fresh water.
• Maintain cleanliness of pet enclosures, including litter boxes and cages.
• Address and clean up any pet-related messes within the home.
• Conduct routine checks of the home for any signs of damage.
• Provide regular updates on pet and home status to management.

Schedule

• Flexible visit scheduling is available, encompassing weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• Must reside within a 3-mile radius of the 22301 zip code.
• Possess a dependable vehicle and a functioning smartphone.
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and a high level of responsibility.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Be comfortable and capable of handling a variety of animal species.
• Willingness and ability to work outdoors in diverse weather conditions.
• Commitment to a minimum of a 6-month service period.
• Successful completion of a background check is mandatory.

Pay & Benefits

• Earn between $24 and $28 per hour, in addition to any tips received.
