The Role

An Operative is required for the SARVAL Ltd site in Doncaster. This is a permanent full-time position based on 12-hour shifts, covering both day and night work across a 3-week rotating schedule.

Key Duties

• Follow all relevant health and safety rules and site procedures at all times.
• Work on a picking belt, separating fresh and frozen meat products.
• Carry out cleaning tasks to keep the factory in the required condition.
• Perform general housekeeping duties across the site.
• Operate a forklift truck and other machinery to move product as needed.
• Complete paperwork and other required documentation accurately.
• Take on additional tasks assigned by management.

Candidate Profile

• A forklift truck licence is preferred.
• You should be comfortable working in a cold factory setting.
• Experience in a process or manufacturing environment would be an advantage.
• Strong communication skills are important.
• You must be able to work independently as well as with others.
• A self-driven approach with the ability to manage your own workload is needed.
