Role overview

An organization is looking for an Operations Analyst at the entry to mid level to help strengthen operational performance, improve processes, and support decisions with accurate data. The role centers on reviewing how work flows across the business, spotting inefficiencies, and turning findings into practical recommendations that improve productivity and overall results.

Key responsibilities

Review operational workflows, business performance metrics, and process data to spot patterns, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
Gather information from different sources, check it for accuracy, and interpret it for analysis and reporting.
Create reports, dashboards, KPI scorecards, and presentation materials for management.
Track operating metrics and provide insights that support informed business decisions.
Perform root-cause analysis and propose corrective as well as preventive measures.
Contribute to process improvement, automation, and broader operational optimization efforts.
Work with teams across operations, finance, HR, IT, logistics, and customer service.
Assist with planning, implementation, progress tracking, and evaluation of projects.
Build and update SOPs, process flows, and other operational documentation.
Support forecasting, resource planning, capacity analysis, and productivity reviews.
Maintain accuracy, consistency, and integrity in operational records and reports.
Take part in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at strengthening operational effectiveness.

Requirements

Prior experience in operations, business analysis, process improvement, data analysis, or a related area is preferred.
Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability.
Hands-on proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including analysis, reporting, and visualization features.
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or comparable analytics tools is an added advantage.
Good understanding of business operations, workflows, and performance measurement.
Comfort working with large datasets while maintaining accuracy.
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder coordination skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
Well-developed organizational and documentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics, Finance, or a similar discipline is preferred.
