Role overview

As an Onboarding Associate, you will review new account applications, carry out due diligence checks, and support internal teams with advice related to onboarding and compliance. The role is focused on keeping onboarding aligned with company policies and AML/KYC expectations, while also spotting ways to improve the process and reduce compliance exposure. This position supports APAC onboarding activities and reports to the CEO/Director of Operations.

What you will do

Perform customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence in line with internal procedures, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Carry out recurring reviews according to KYC/KYB and CDD standards, and escalate cases in a timely manner when needed.
Deliver a strong customer experience by managing onboarding communications, monitoring progress, responding to questions, and taking ownership of service quality.
Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders to maintain a smooth onboarding flow and effective account administration.
Join internal and external learning sessions covering AML/CFT and other topics relevant to daily responsibilities.
Take on additional tasks assigned by the supervisor.

What we are looking for

A bachelor’s degree is required.
At least 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in compliance, onboarding, or due diligence, ideally in financial services or fintech.
Solid understanding of MAS PSN02 Guidelines, related notices, laws, directives, regulations, and compliance standards in Singapore.
Knowledge of evolving virtual currency regulatory frameworks in other jurisdictions will be considered an advantage.
Strong ability to analyze information, communicate clearly, and prepare documentation accurately.
Fluency in English and Mandarin, including the ability to review and evaluate documents in both languages.
