Role Overview
Litmus7 is looking for an OMS Lead to drive the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise-grade Order Management System solutions. This role requires deep OMS expertise along with hands-on experience building integration middleware using Spring Boot and Java microservices.
Core Experience
- You should bring at least 8 years of OMS experience, together with experience building enterprise-level integration middlewares using Spring Boot Java microservices.
- Exposure to Blue Yonder OMS for 5+ years is preferred.
- You must have led at least one project in which the complete OMS architecture was designed and implemented from the ground up.
OMS Domain Knowledge
- Strong understanding of major OMS capabilities and flows such as STH, SFS, BOPIS, BORIS, 3PL, and Drop Ship.
- Solid grasp of inventory processes and OMS integrations used to calculate real-time availability metrics and distribute them to ecommerce, social commerce, POS, and similar channels.
Technical Requirements
- Hands-on expertise in at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP, with AWS carrying additional preference.
- Working knowledge of cloud-native services such as API gateways, serverless functions, and messaging/event services including Event Bus, EventBridge, Kafka, and Kinesis.
- Experience with microservices design and development, with Java Spring Boot as the preferred framework.
- Strong familiarity with API standards and technologies such as REST, JSON, GraphQL, and Swagger.
- Experience integrating APIs and third-party platforms, especially payment gateways and fraud-check systems.
- Good understanding of distributed and memory caching solutions such as Spring cache/EhCache or Redis.
Way of Working
- Good retail domain knowledge is required.
- You should be comfortable working in Agile environments and using JIRA for project tracking and delivery.
