Role overview

Ascenti is seeking an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist who wants to progress further in their career. This opportunity is designed for someone who already has solid MSK experience and is ready for a role that builds confidence, expands clinical capability, and supports long-term growth.

You will manage a completely MSK-focused caseload and receive tailored learning and development designed to help you strengthen your clinical practice. The organisation is known for supporting physios beyond university-level training and can also help prepare you for the possibility of running your own MSK practice in the future.

Career progression

The role comes with a structured development pathway. Salary and responsibilities are expected to progress over time, supported by a guaranteed annual pay review and ongoing investment in your development, including protected learning time.

After 3 years post-qualification and once a key progression milestone has been reached, the successful candidate can move into a Senior MSK Physiotherapist position. This step includes a meaningful salary increase, greater independence in clinic, and access to additional career opportunities.

Support and working environment

You will work autonomously in clinic, but with a wider support network behind you, including an Area Manager, Physiotherapy Development Lead, and Clinical Mentor. Administrative support is also built into the role through digital systems and a dedicated customer hub, reducing manual paperwork and handling patient queries on your behalf.

Essential qualifications and experience

• A BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy degree with at least a 2:2 classification.
• At least 2 years of experience working as an MSK Physiotherapist.
• Current HCPC registration.
• Proven ability to carry out initial assessments, establish diagnoses, and create management plans.
• Strong experience communicating effectively with patients.
• Good English skills across speaking, reading, and writing.

Working pattern

• Monday: 11:00 to 19:30
• Thursday: 11:00 to 19:30
• Friday: 10:00 to 18:30

The role requires availability during evenings and/or weekends.
