Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Merchandiser position is based in Tiruppur Taluka, Tamil Nadu. The role centers on setting up and maintaining product presentations, keeping shelves replenished and orderly, and ensuring displays follow brand standards. You will work closely with sales and store teams to support offers and seasonal campaigns, while also monitoring inventory, product condition, and sales movement of displayed items.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement attractive product displays in line with brand and store requirements.
• Keep shelves stocked, arranged neatly, and easy for customers to browse.
• Track stock availability, rotate inventory, and check product condition regularly.
• Coordinate with sales and store teams to assist with promotions and seasonal activity.
• Monitor sell-through trends and share customer and staff feedback to improve assortment and placement.
• Provide support for basic selling tasks when needed.
• Maintain cleanliness in merchandising zones and ensure displays remain presentable.
• Prepare and submit timely updates and reports to management.

Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should communicate clearly, work well with store teams, and interact professionally with customers and coworkers. Experience in retail or customer-facing roles is important, along with a good understanding of customer needs and in-store service. The role also calls for sales awareness, basic marketing knowledge, strong attention to detail, and good organization for display upkeep, stock rotation, and pricing accuracy. Candidates should be able to stand, walk, and lift merchandise as required during shifts while following safety practices. Basic reporting and data handling abilities are also needed. Experience in merchandising, fashion, apparel, or FMCG is considered an advantage. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and further education in retail, marketing, or business is a plus.
