Overview

This is a ground-floor opportunity with a startup that is building two products from the beginning: one aimed at consumers and the other designed for business clients. The role calls for a marketing leader who can define the go-to-market approach, establish the brand, bring in customers, and set up repeatable growth systems from day one.

You will own marketing for both products and combine strategic planning with hands-on execution. The work will cover brand building, campaign development, demand generation, sales support, content creation, user acquisition for the consumer product, and continuous improvement through testing and analytics. The position reports to the President/Chief Revenue Officer and partners closely with Product and Development leadership.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will create the early identity for both businesses by developing names, logos, taglines, colour palettes, brand templates, merchandise, teaser campaigns, and online presence.

You will also design marketing plans and execution roadmaps, including budget suggestions, for both products.

Content creation will be a major part of the job, including teaser landing pages, blog content, social media assets, and sales enablement materials such as explainer videos, presentation decks, and demo scripts.

You will identify relevant conferences and industry events, coordinate participation, and represent the company at those events, including required travel.

Additional responsibilities include improving search visibility through SEO, publishing blog content, managing social channels, monitoring KPIs on a daily and weekly basis, running A/B tests on ad creatives, and analyzing onboarding funnels to improve conversion.

For the consumer-facing product, you will also help grow and moderate online communities such as Reddit, Discord, and newsletters to strengthen retention and engagement.

Qualifications
