This internship is aimed at university students or recent graduates who are interested in finance and want practical exposure to mergers and acquisitions. The role offers a chance to build real-world experience in a fast-growing software investment environment.

Responsibilities
The internship is split across sourcing, transaction support, and business development.
- Identify and approach possible software-related investment opportunities independently.
- Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective deals.
- Support transaction work by building financial models and assisting with commercial due diligence.
- Carry out detailed financial analysis to help evaluate opportunities.
- Travel across Europe to meet businesses and represent the team externally.
- Build and strengthen professional relationships across the industry.
Candidate profile
The ideal candidate is currently studying for, or has recently completed, a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a similar discipline.
Strong analytical thinking, sound problem-solving ability, clear communication, and good interpersonal skills are important. Comfort with company valuation methods, Microsoft Excel, and financial modelling is also expected.
The role suits someone who is eager to learn, can adapt quickly in a dynamic environment, and has a genuine interest in software and investment. Fluency in English is required, and additional languages would be an advantage.
